You Can't Just Give A Speech And Expect People To Fall Down And Agree With You.

I Want To Focus On What Are Called Kitchen Table Issues. You Know, The Ones That Keep You Up At Night, Like The Cost Of Childcare And College And Prescription Drugs And So Much Else.

I Would Hope That The Senate Would Do Its Job And Confirm The Nominee That President [barack] Obama Has Sent To Them. That's The Way The Constitution Fundamentally Should Operate. The President Nominates, And Then The Senate Advises And Consents, Or Not, But They Go Forward With The Process.

If There Is One Message That Echoes Forth From This Conference, It Is That Human Rights Are Women's Rights — And Women's Rights Are Human Rights. Let Us Not Forget That Among Those Rights Are The Right To Speak Freely — And The Right To Be Heard.

We Have A Lot That We Believe Is In The Best Interests Of Our Country,and I'm Looking Forward To Working With Barack Obama During The Campaign And Then On After The Inauguration.
