If You Listen To Barack Obama, If You Listen To Hillary Clinton, They're Portraying Donald Trump As This Deep, Dark, Dividing, Dank Presence That Sees America As Dwindling Away And Failing And Everybody's In Bad Shape. They Think They're The Paragons Of Optimism.

Early In My Career, When I Was Still Learning About Politics, When I Was Wet Behind The Ears And Naive... Up Until The Time I Started Radio Show, Nobody That Knew Me Ever Thought I Was A Hatemonger Or A Racist Or Homophobic Or Sexist Or Bigoted Or Any Of That. Nobody. There Wasn't Anybody. Six Months After Being On The Radio With This Program, I'd Become All Of That. And I Remember.

I'm Not Singing The Virtues Of Corporations Simply 'cause They Exist. But By The Same Token I'm Not Gonna Be Like Your Average Liberal And Condemn Them Just Because They Exist.

Now Your Kids Can't Escape. Thirteen-year-olds Back Then, If They Didn't Watch The Evening News, They Didn't See News. If They Didn't Watch The 6:30 Or Seven P.m. News, They Didn't See News. Today Younger People Have Much More Access To That Kind Of Hard News Than You Did When You Were 13 Back Then.
