Because I Am A Bad Girl, People Always Automatically Think That I Am A Bad Girl. Or That I Carry A Dark Secret With Me Or That I'm Obsessed With Death. The Truth Is That I Am Probably The Least Morbid Person One Can Meet. If I Think More About Death Than Some Other People, It Is Probably Because I Love Life More Than They Do.

We Did Work Together Surprisingly Well, More Than I Thought We Would, Because I Didn't Know Before We Met If We Would Actually Work Together Really Well, And We Had A Great Time.

I Wasn't Into Fairytales When I Was Little. I Was Of The Generation Of The Earlier Disney Films Where Many Of The Female Characters, With The Exception Of The Maleficent's, Were Not Little Girls That I Admired... The Little Princesses. They Weren't Characters That I Identified With. I Think That's Very Different Now For My Girls And More Recent Films.

Maleficent Has Suffered Abuse In The Past, And There's A Reason Why She Is Now As Furious As She Is. And I Think That Children Who Have Been Outcast And Abused In Any Way Will Relate To Her. There's A Beautiful Side To Her; She's Not Just A Dark Person. She Has All These Facets. And That Is Interesting.

Violence Against Women Is Still Treated As A Lesser Crime. Armed Groups Turn It Into A Weapon Of Choice Because Of Near Total Impunity.
