Either Because They Have Become Captives Of Regulated Industries Or Captains Of Outmoded Administrative Agencies, Regulators All Too Often Encourage Or Approve Unreasonably High Prices, Inadequate Service, And Anticompetitive Behavior. The Cost Of This Regulation Is Always Passed On To The Consumer. And That Cost Is Astronomical.

The Constitution Does Not Just Protect Those Whose Views We Share; It Also Protects Those With Whose Views We Disagree.

We Were Taught Never To Give Up, Never To Passively Accept Fate, But To Exhaust Every Last Ounce Of Will And Hope In The Face Of Any Challenge.

I Believe That The Constitution Is Not Hostile To The Idea That National Problems Can Be Solved At The National Level Through The Cooperative Efforts Of The Three Coequal Branches Of Government, The Congress, The Executive And Courts. But Not Every President, Not Every Legislator And Not Every Judge Agrees That The Federal Government Has The Power To Address And To Try To Remedy The Twin National Problems Of Poverty And Access To Equal Opportunity.
